Your files stay on your device
Every tool on ImageToolSpace processes files in your browser: compression, resizing, format and HEIC conversion, metadata removal, image inspection, duplicate finding, hash checking, text recognition (OCR), searchable PDFs, ID copies and photo reports. Your files, file names, previews, captions, hashes, recognised text and the documents you create are not uploaded to our servers and are not sent to other services.
What your browser downloads from us
Your browser downloads the pages, scripts, styles and fonts of this website. Some tools also download an engine from this website the first time you use them, such as the HEIC decoder, the text recognition engine and its language data, or the PDF reader. These downloads contain nothing from your files.
Text recognition language data is kept in your browser's storage (IndexedDB) so it does not need to be downloaded again, and your browser may cache other files of this website. If you choose a language in the language menu, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage (localStorage), so the website opens in that language next time; this choice is not sent to us. You can remove all of this by clearing this website's data in your browser settings. ImageToolSpace sets no cookies of its own.
Language
To suggest a language on your first visit to the homepage, the website reads the language preferences your browser already shares with every website. This happens in your browser: we do not use your IP address or location to choose a language, and the preference is not sent to us or to any other service.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used. It sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and collects the pages you visit, approximate location, device and browser information, as Google Analytics does on any website. We also record a few events without personal content:
- that a tool search was used and how many results it showed (not what you typed);
- that a file was downloaded from a tool (the tool's page, not the file or its name);
- that a contact message was sent, with its category (not its contents or your email address).
Files, file names, file contents, recognised text, messages and email addresses are never sent to analytics. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Contact form and support emails
The contact form is the one feature that sends what you write to us. When you send a message, your email address, the category, subject, message and any optional details you add (name, related tool, browser, operating system, steps to reproduce) are sent to our server on imagetoolspace.com and delivered by email to our support mailbox, [email protected]. The same applies when you email us directly.
We use these messages only to answer you and to fix and improve the tools. Files are never attached automatically: the form has no file upload.
To stop spam and abuse, the server keeps, for up to one hour, a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address and the time of your messages, and a fingerprint of recent messages to block duplicates. These are not used for anything else. Server error logs do not contain message contents.
You can ask us to delete your messages at any time by writing to [email protected].
Hosting, security and logs
The website is hosted on Namecheap and delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web server, they process technical data needed to deliver pages securely, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser user-agent and time, and may keep this in access and security logs under their own policies.
Services we use
- Google Analytics – website analytics (see above).
- Cloudflare – content delivery and security.
- Namecheap – hosting of the website and the contact form endpoint, and email delivery.
Fonts and all tool engines are served from this website, not from third parties.
No accounts, no sale of data
There is no signup and no account. We do not ask for payment details, and we do not sell personal data.
Your rights and choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use browser settings or extensions to opt out of analytics, and clear stored website data at any time. You can ask us what personal data we hold from your messages, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date above. Questions about privacy: [email protected] or the contact form.
