Why JPG output matters.
HEIC keeps iPhone photos compact, while JPG remains the safer format for forms, marketplace uploads, older software, and quick sharing. Use higher JPG quality for important images and lower quality when file size matters more.

FAQ
HEIC to JPG questions.
Do my HEIC photos upload to ImageToolSpace?
No. HEIC to JPG conversion runs in your browser. Your selected files are decoded locally and are not sent to our servers.
Why convert HEIC to JPG?
JPG is widely accepted by forms, email clients, publishing tools, and older apps that may not support iPhone HEIC files.
Can I convert several HEIC files at once?
Yes. Add multiple HEIC or HEIF images, convert them locally, then download individual JPG files or a single ZIP archive.
Is JPG the same as JPEG?
Yes. JPG and JPEG are two names for the same image format, and .jpg and .jpeg files are identical. This tool saves files with the .jpg extension, which works anywhere JPEG is accepted.
Does JPG support transparent backgrounds?
JPG does not support transparency. If a decoded HEIC image contains transparent pixels, the JPG output is flattened against a white background.
Which HEIC and HEIF files are supported?
Still photos saved as .heic, .heif or .hif by iPhone, iPad, Android phones and cameras, including high-resolution, tiled, rotated and 10-bit images. HEIF image sequences such as bursts or animations, and AVIF files, are not supported.
